International Economic Outlook
According to EIU, IMF, OECD and other institutions to observe the economic growth forecast for the world's major economies in 2022Q1: U.S. real GDP will grow by 3.5%, Japan's real GDP will decline by 1.0%, China`s real GDP will grow by 4.8%, the real GDP of the euro area will grow by 5.1%.

Taiwan Economic Overview
Key domestic economic indicators for 2022Q1: real GDP grew by 3.14%. Export orders recorded double-digit growth for 7 consecutive quarters, a year-on-year increase of 16.22%. Export orders rose by more than 20% for 5 consecutive quarters, a year-on-year increase of 23.49%. The industrial production index and manufacturing industry production index climbed to 130.96 and 133.78, respectively. This represents a year-on-year rise of 6.40% and 6.55%.

As of the end of March 2022, a total of 236,877 businesses were registered in Taipei City. This number declines by 3,041 compared to the previous year, which represents a year-on-year declines of 1.27%. The capital of enterprises in Taipei City reached 13.74 trillion, an increase of 3.96% over the same period last year. The number of registered factories in Taipei City reached981, an annual declines of 1.27%.
The number of he Profit-seeking Enterprise in Taipei City is 242,566, and the amount of the Profit-seeking Enterprise Income are 2.63 trillion, an annual increase of 11.24%. The tertiary industry had a sales volume of 2.12 trillion, an annual increase of 10.37%. Approved foreign investments in Taipei City amount to US$ 1,276 million, an annual increase of 118.49%.The number of newly established foreign companies in Taipei City is 40, an decrease of 38.46% over the same period last year.
