Key domestic economic indicators in 2023Q3：The real GDP increase by 2.32％.The value of export orders is US$145.16 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 14.50％.The total export value is 114.90 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 5.08％.The industrial production index and manufacturing industry production index climbed to 88.63 and 87.75, respectively. This represents a year-on-year decrease of 11.06％ and 11.37％.

Taipei Econ Overview
As of the end of September 2023, a total of 238,442 businesses were registered in Taipei City. This number increased by 3,320 compared to the previous year, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.41%. The capital of enterprises in Taipei City reached 14.67 trillion, an increase of 4.81% over the same period last year. The number of registered factories in Taipei City reached 937, an annual decline of 4.39%.
The number of Profit-seeking Enterprises in Taipei City is 247,629 and the amount of Profit-seeking Enterprise Income is 2.95 trillion, an annual increase of 3.13%. The tertiary industry had a sales volume of 2.35 trillion, an annual increase of 2.55%. Approved foreign investments in Taipei City amounted to US$ 7.16 billion, an annual decrease of 11.54%. The number of newly established foreign companies in Taipei City is 53, a decrease of 13.11% over the same period last year.
